HOW TO AUDITION FOR A CLASS OR SHOW
どのようにオーディションします
Please prepare the following items:
オーディションの際にご持参していただくもの：
1. ISA Audition Application Form
ISAオーディション申請フォーム
2. Resume of Stage Experience. If you have no experience, please prepare a short statement about why you would like to be a performer.
舞台やパフォーマンスの履歴書、未経験の方は簡単な志望理由を書いてください。
3. Full-page headshot with your name clearly visible
漢字とロマじの名前がハッキリ分かる、フチなし顔写真
4. At least one of the following. When uploading your video, please include your name, audition type, and date in the title. For example: Taro Watanabe_Acting Audition_2023-4-15.pdf

ACTOR'S AUDITION
Please prepare
a 30-second to 1-minute
monologue in English or Japanese.
You may use props or costumes.
アクターズオーディション
30秒 ~１分間程度のモノローグを
英語か日本語で演じて下さい。

DANCER'S AUDITION
Please prepare a 30 second routine in the style of musical theater, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, or contemporary ballet.
You may use props or costumes.
You may prepare the song of your choice.
Please provide your own digital music.
A bluetooth speaker will be available.
ダンサーズオーディション
30秒程度のルーティーンを踊っていただきます。ジャンルはシアター・ジャズ・コンテンポラリー・またはコンテンポラリーバレエです。＊衣装や小道具を用いても構いません。デジタル音楽をご用意下さい。 ブルートゥーススピーカーが利用可能になります。
SINGER'S AUDITION
Please prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of contemporary musical theater. You may sing in English, or Japanese. You may use props or costumes. Please provide your own digital music. A bluetooth speaker will be available.
シンガーズオーディション
お好きなミュージカルの曲で、32小節ほど歌っていただきます。英語または日本語でお願いします。＊衣装や小道具を使用しても構いません。デジタル音楽をご用意下さい。 ブルートゥーススピーカーが利用可能になります。
WRITER'S AUDITION
Please submit a statement of less than 1 page describing your favorite play or movie script, and what writing means to you. Please also include a list of your published works, if applicable.
著者のオーディション
好きな演劇や映画の脚本、あなたにとって「書くこと」とは何かについて、1ページ以内で書いてください。また、出版された作品のリストがあれば、それも添付してください。
DIRECTOR'S AUDITION
Please submit your Director's Reel and a statement of less than 1 page describing your directing style.
OR
Please submit a statement of less than 1 page describing your favorite director (theatre, film, artistic), and why directing is your passion.

Please submit your Comedy Reel and a brief statement about your favorite comedian(s).
OR
Please submit a statement of less than 1 page describing your favorite comedians/comediennes, and what your comedy style is.
